The digiKeto method is a normoprotein food protocol based on the principles of ketogenic diet which provides for the temporary reduction of carbohydrates and fats, ensuring that the body uses triglycerides, the so-called "reserve fats", as an energy source. Especially in the first period of the slimming program, the meals taken will be mainly protein with a precise supply of vitamins and minerals and, of course, lots of water. Our digiKeto slimming method is developed in 4 phases:phase 1Ketogenic NutritionDuring the first phase, carbohydrates are reduced in favor of vegetables and protein foods (also thanks to the help of protein food supplements). Furthermore, vitamins, mineral salts and trace elements are provided. For the more sedentary, we recommend an approach to physical activity starting even with short walks.phase • 2Partial reinstatement of other categoriesWith the passage to the second phase, some foods are gradually reintroduced such as aged cheeses and fruit while maintaining a mainly protein diet. However, we begin to reduce the intake of vitamins, minerals and trace elements. In this phase it is advisable to slightly increase your motor activity and, as always, drink plenty of waterphase • 3Progressive replenishment of carbohydratesAt this point of the digiKeto program we can begin to reintroduce carbohydrates, strictly with a low glycemic index (such as wholemeal flours, spelled, rye, oats, etc ...), as well as legumes and potatoes (not fried). Regular physical activity is recommended.phase • 4Maintenance PhaseThe last phase of the digiKeto method involves the return to a balanced diet complete with maintenance. All foods such as pasta, desserts, pizza are reintroduced but with due attention. All excesses are prohibited. Regular exercise and drinking plenty of water is always recommended.
